It was a chilly fall day, and I was stoked to take photos to commemorate my friend Zoe's graduation from VCU. Mason and I picked her and her boyfriend Conner up from their quaint apartment in the museum district of Richmond. We headed to the VMFA to take photographs in the gardens and then inside the museum. Afterwards, we drove over to the Monroe side of campus and captured Zoe in iconic campus locations- in front of the library, the VCU sign, and the ram horns. Zoe is such a warm person, with an infectious laugh- it was a freakin joy to photograph her.

Paris, in Christmas. What a romantic time to be in such a beautiful city. When Mason's mom first announced the trip to us and his sister Lex last summer we were in shock. This week was like something out of a dream. I'm thankful to have taken so many photos because it hardly seems real, how perfect it was.

We were lucky enough to stay in a family friend's apartment. This was our view out the living room Juliet balcony.

We were only a ten minute walk from the Eiffel tower.

And five minutes from the Arc de Triomphe.

This was the balcony in our room.

We visited the Musรฉe d'Orsay.

I loved our walk to the Jardin du Luxembourg. Even in winter, the grounds were breathtaking.

Notre Dame.

Our rainy day at the Louvre was my favorite. We had so much of the museum to ourselves because of the drizzly weather.

Near the end of our stay, we went up to the top of the Eiffel at night. Ice cold wind and gorgeous city lights.

The last Saturday in April ‘18, I got to hang with two of my best friends and capture their graduation photos. First I captured Autumn with her roommates. Then I got to spend time with Morgan that evening and capture her and her boyfriend DJ as we walked across the quad. Morgan is graduating with two degrees- in Health Science and Theatre! She is incredibly smart and talented and it was awesome getting to reminisce with her and DJ at my alma mater.
